intent and provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. It then goes on to bring out the key aspects of clause 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the recently released draft rules, and highlights its implications to companies.

This handbook, developed in partnership with PwC, provides a framework that companies can use to plan and implement  their CSR activities, addressing the ‘why CSR’ and ‘How to put CSR into action.’

The handbook was released at the 3rd National CSR-CSO Bridge 2013 organised by CII on 2-3 December, 2013 at New Delhi.
