The motorcycle ride sponsored by Tusker Harley Davidson will benefit the beneficiaries of Mission Education, a national level programme.

Tusker Harley Davidson in association with HOG’s (Harley Owners Group) organised a ride to benefit Smile Foundation in sending less privileged children to school. Smile Foundation is a national level development organization reaching out to more than 300,000 underprivileged children, youth and women directly every year through 158 welfare projects on subjects such as education, healthcare, youth employability and women empowerment across 25 states of India.

This ride was joined by 20 HOG’s from the garden city and they together advocate the cause of better education and health amongst the kids. From this ride the HOGs’ supported 60 kids. This ride was flagged of by the kids of Smile Foundation from Tusker Harley Davidson, Lavelle Road, Bangalore at around 8:30. Covering a stretch of 100 KM the ride was culminated at the Prestige Golfshire. HOG’S displayed placards on importance of education and encouraged more people to send atleast one less privileged child to school.

The resources raised by the HOGs’ through this ride will provide Education & Nutrition support for close to 100 under privileged kids for a year.

Speaking about this CSR initiative Srinivas Reddy, CEO & MD – Tusker Harley Davidson said, “When we have so much of inequality around us, it becomes an important responsibility of people like us to insure our best to the marginalized community. The sensitization cum resource raising campaign involving all the HOGs’ in Bangalore is organised under ‘Celebrating Responsible Luxury’ initiative of Smile Foundation under which luxury brands from across the spectrum will join hands in putting a smile on every under privileged child’s face by ensuring a better future by gifting them with education.

The ride will benefit the beneficiaries of Mission Education, a national level programme from Smile Foundation which focuses on basic education for underprivileged children and youth.
