Dr U S Awasthi, Managing Director, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) delve into the challenges that are being faced by the farming communities in the country. He emphasises on need of educating farmers to make them aware of various farming techniques and fill knowledge gap. Dr Awasthi advocates for the direct cash subsidy to the farmer instead of providing subsidies on electricity, seeds and fertilisers.
